Japan's best cutlet bowl
A menu with a great name.
Sendai's famous large serving menu.
It's a huge amount, don't lick it.
It was my first time to eat such a thick cutlet.
The photo doesn't show it, but it's surprisingly thick in real life.
It's better to think that there are twice as many as you imagine.
And even though it's thick, it's soft.
It was an incredible experience.
The fried shrimp is also quite big and filling.
Old-fashioned store appearance. I went to the restaurant at a different lunch time, but there was no shortage of customers until the restaurant closed at 3:00 p.m. *Currently open during lunch hours only.
I came to the store to try the 400g ``Nippon Ichi Katsudon'' that was recommended to me by a regular customer, but I was told that reservations were required. See you next time for the challenge.
There was also something called "Nihon Ichi Tendon", but since I was in the mood for katsudon, I ordered the DX katsudon. The soba noodles were also delicious.
I visited on a Sunday before 12:00.
There was a parking lot for 10 cars about 50 meters away from the store.
There are several reserved seats on this day, and they are already full.
I'll wait at the back of the store
After 10 minutes, I think there were about 6 groups of customers waiting.
There are table seats and tatami seats, and water is self-service.
There seemed to be only one customer serving and he seemed busy.
I could see the food being served from where I was waiting, and I was surprised at how thick the cutlet was.
Ordered a set meal of tempura, fillet cutlet, and soba.
Tempura is crunchy with lots of batter
I think it would be perfect for tempura served in a tempura bowl or in soup.
There were two fillet cutlets, which was a big deal! And even the batter is soft and delicious! The soba had a gentle taste, but it was also so voluminous that I couldn't finish it all.
I asked my husband to eat it
I think this price is quite good for the 1,200 yen range.
If you come to Kamekakuan, please try the fried food!
There is only one song in Japan!
I had the best katsudon in Japan.
Due to cooking time, reservations are required for this menu.
It is quite large as it bears the name of the best in Japan.
I think it's about twice the weight of a regular katsudon.
In particular, the thickness of the cutlet itself is about 3cm, which makes it look very impressive.
The katsudon is a type of katsudon covered with an egg, so it is full of flavor.
It was piping hot and the cutlet itself was soft, so I was able to enjoy it until the end.
This is a menu that we heartily recommend to those who want to eat katsudon to their full stomach.
A very popular soba restaurant in the Yagiyama area.
The 10-space parking lot fills up quickly before noon.
This restaurant is more popular for fried foods (tempura, fries) than soba, and they offer quite hearty katsudon and tempura bowls.
The soba noodles are quite ordinary, so don't you think you should go eat some soba noodles? At a level like
I think fried foods are delicious.
The price is quite reasonable compared to the ingredients used and the volume.
This place is located on the top of Mt. Yagi, famous for Japan's No. 1 series of pork cutlets and katsudon.
It's a little hard to understand if it's your first time, but it's located 🅿 in front of the store.
Even if it is not the best in Japan, even DX (deluxe) has enough volume.
The quality and taste of the food is considered to be average, but the restaurant's reputation as Japan's best has always attracted a good number of customers.
I ate Japan's best shrimp 🍤 Tenzaru.
I was impressed by the size.
Next time I want to eat 🍤curry! …
Order Japan's best fillet cutlet set meal!
“It’s huge! ” I couldn’t help but say (ノ゚Д゚)ノ
Cutlet: Height 10cm x Width 25cm x Height 4cm (estimated)
Rice: Around 300g (estimated)
Soba: There's enough for a bowl of regular kake soba.
With cold tofu, pickled radish, and salad
The cutlet might be a little bigger. I really wanted to measure it with a measuring tape♪(*´∀`*)♪
Since it's fillet cutlet, it doesn't have much fat, so even though it was thick, I could eat it easily. Thick noodles are good for soba! It softens the oil in the cutlet! However, the volume is huge, so if you don't have the heart to eat it, it's best to stop! !
Next time, I would like to try Japan's best katsudon (reservation required)!
Thank you for the delicious cutlet m(_ _)m
